THE ULTIMATE SEQUENTIAL DRIVETRAIN PACKAGE

The 6XD Sequential Gearbox Package for the Corvette C5, C6, and C7. Designed for high-performance street cars, track builds, and serious competition applications, this complete drivetrain system combines the proven 6XD sequential transmission with an upgraded torque tube, driveshaft, and Winters quick-change rear differential.

With multiple transmission configurations, more than 200 transmission gear ratios, and an extensive selection of final-drive ratios, the 6XD package can be tailored to suit your engine combination, tire size, horsepower goals, and intended driving application.

The 6XD installation package is engineered to simplify integration into your Corvette’s drivetrain layout. For C6 and C7 applications, the system mounts into the rear cradle using precision-machined billet mounting brackets and adjustable Heim joints. A custom-length torque tube positions the shifter assembly to come through the OEM center console location, providing a clean, factory-style shifter placement. Unlike conventional cable-operated systems that can produce a soft or spongy shifting feel, the 6XD uses an aluminum shift rod for a more direct, solid connection between the shifter and transmission. The result is a precise, positive shifting experience through every gear.

The 6XD package features an upgraded torque tube bearing carrier designed for demanding high-horsepower and high-torque applications.

Inside the torque tube is an upgraded 3.5-inch-diameter aluminum driveshaft with billet Alum tri-mount ends. This performance-oriented design replaces the factory-style rubber mounting arrangement to help address recurring mount failures under demanding driving conditions.
