JDP Racing Brings Home Second at Sebring and a Third Consecutive Nationals Podium

We’re coming home from Sebring with another national podium.

Jason Perry was classified second in Super Touring 1 at the 2026 NASA Championships, marking his third consecutive podium finish at the national event. Held September 24–27 at Sebring International Raceway, this year’s Championships celebrated NASA’s 20th anniversary with drivers from across the country competing for national honors.

For our team, it was an opportunity to put our preparation to the test on a circuit that demands plenty from both the driver and the car.

Taking on Sebring

Sebring is a place where the equipment has to work hard. Its fast sections, changing surfaces and famously bumpy Turn 17 make keeping the car settled a priority. A setup needs to handle the rough pavement while giving the driver the confidence to brake, carry speed and get back on the throttle.

The suspension was an important part of our weekend. A huge thank-you goes to LG Motorsports for supplying the Bilstein suspension that handled Sebring’s punishing surface.

As we shared after the race: “The shocks kept our tires to the concrete so we could put the throttle down.”

That ability to maintain grip over the bumps matters here. Sebring gives a race car very few easy laps, and having equipment that can take the punishment is essential.

Qualifying: Still More to Find

Jason’s update during qualifying was honest about where things stood:

“P5 in qualifying race still more time to find. I’m having a blast.”

There was work ahead, with strong competition at the front of ST1. Andrew Bishay won Saturday’s qualifying race, with NASA’s report placing Joe Kellerman and James Kelly Ganjei in the next two positions on the championship grid.

For us, the focus remained on the race that would decide the weekend.

Race Day: Bringing Home P2

Ahead of the race, Jason’s message was simple: “Rolling out p5 I have some work to do.”

Following the championship race, Jason was classified second in ST1, with Andrew Bishay taking the win and James Kelly Ganjei finishing third.

The result gave us another piece of national championship hardware to bring home—and continued a run that Jason was quick to recognize in his post-race update: three consecutive years on the NASA Championships podium.

Three Years on the National Podium

We’re proud of this result and everyone who contributed to the effort. Getting to Nationals takes preparation, commitment and support, and competing at Sebring puts all of that work under pressure.

Thank you to everyone who supported JDP Racing, followed the updates and cheered Jason on throughout the weekend.
